UCL East
Our One Pool Street base opened last autumn. Full of multidisciplinary research labs and studios exploring ecology, robotics, urbanism, culture, disability and heritage, with a lecture theatre doubling as a cinema, a shop, café and homes for 500+ students.
Marshgate, opening this year, is eight floors of hi-tech, cross-disciplinary research labs, teaching areas, fabrication workshops, collaboration spaces, a library, a refectory, prayer space and a UCL Institute of Making.
UCL East is accessible, sustainable and open to the public, with exhibitions and public art from local artists.
